The Boston Online Home Education remedial track is research-driven, fully integrated, and focused, tailored for the specific needs of each individual learner and administered by our highly trained team of academics, counsellors and educational psychologists. All of the interventions we offer integrate cognitive skill building with targeted academic or functional remediation. What does this mean? We don't just teach students WHAT to learn, we teach them HOW to learn. We attain mastery in our teaching so that our students gain confidence and experience success in the classroom and in life.
Creating a bespoke (designed for the individual) remedial education action plan is a process. As we go through the steps in the process, we liaise with the parents, assess the learner, and fine tune the remediation that must take place. The first step must be the assessment of the learner. We are assessing skills, learning styles, type of learner and other factors within the environment of their studies keeping in mind teaching and learning will take place online.

INTERVENTION STEPS
Following the process explained in the diagram, BOHE will understand HOW the learner learns. Using various methodologies we obtain a profile of the learner. Once we have a profile, we create a learning remediation programme specific to the learner, based on HOW the learner best absorbs skills and knowledge. We are now ready to implement the recommended interventions.
